GOOGLE CHROME

Click on the top right hand menu of google chrome (looks like three straight lines), scroll down to tools, click on first four options including 'clear browsing data', select empty cache. Click on the button 'Clear browsing data'. 

MICROSOFT INTERNET EXPLORER  (IE)

Click on top right hand menu (looks like a cog wheel), scroll down to "Internet options", on the "General" tab, scroll down to 'Delete browsing history on exit'.  After you have down this, go back into this option and make sure this does not continue to remain checked so you can benefit from using your cache again (which save re-downloading old files).
