Lesson 1

Adding & editing room or groups

In LIFT children and programs are linked together by room/groups.  When you first join LIFT you may have created one or more rooms/groups, however you may need to edit, add or delete rooms/groups and this tutorial shows you how to do this. 

 

Editing details for an existing room/group.

  • Click to 'Enrolment / Service'. (If you haven't already logged in do so now) 
  • Click to 'Room/Group' (orange tab). 
  • Click Search to return details all rooms. Click the green 'View/Edit' link on the right hand side of the page for the room/group you wish to edit. 
  • Edit room details as required.  Don’t forget to add information about your team, team photos, welcome letters and contact email to your room details as this is what the parents will view about your team in the parent portal.   Please note that the contact email address can be seen by parents in the parent portal and is used to notify you when a parent updates their child's information or shares an observation from home. 
  • Click submit. When you are finished, click the back button twice to return to the previous screen. 

Adding a new room/group

  • Click to 'Enrolment / Service'. (If you haven't already logged in do so now)
  • Click to 'Room/Group' (orange tab). 
  • Click Search to return details all rooms. At the bottom of the page there is a link to add new rooms. Click on the room you wish to edit. 
  • Add the details of your new room. Don’t forget to add information about your team, team photos, welcome letters and contact email to your room details as this is what the parents will view about your team in the parent portal.   Please note that the contact email address can be seen by parents in the parent portal and is used to notify you when a parent updates their child's information or shares an observation from home. 
  • Click submit. When you are finished, click the back button twice to return to the previous screen.

Deleting a room/group

If you would like to delete a room you will need to log a support request with our support team who will gladly assist you to do this.
