Set up your Gmail account to auto send email links in Google's Chrome Browser

When you first set up Gmail it asks you if you want to use Gmail to autohandle your email links. If at the time you didn't select yes, you can later fix this by adding a free extension to your browser.

Step 1. Click on the three lines in the top right hand side of your browser. Click Settings

Step 2. In Settings, click Extensions (2nd on left under Chrome menu)

Step 3. At the bottom of the Extensions screen - Click Get more extensions

Step 4. Search for Send email from Gmail. Then scroll down to extensions.  It is the first extension called Send email from Gmail. Click the Free button on the right hand side. The extension is installed once the Free button changes to green and says 'rate it'. Close Chrome and restart it.
